The month of April is moving so fast it is actually frightening and graduating from college is scary. All we’ve known growing up essentially, is attending school and being a student. Graduating comes with new opportunities and different stages of life opening which is exciting and at the same time terrifying. Although this thought has dug a hole in my mind the last few months of college, there’s also perks of being a senior.

Everything is sentimental because it’s the “last time,” but it also makes things feel very special. I think the traditions we have here, although COVID has affected it, are so unique.

One of my favorite traditions we’ve done is senior assassins (we use water guns so it is COVID friendly). It started out with 250 people and now there are only 53 left. The social media content is hilarious and it is another way we can come together as a grade. Bob’s Sundays is another favorite of mine. Instead of having the Sunday scaries, Sundays become the new Saturday and it makes the weekends senior year that much better. My last UNC football and basketball games were emotional, but they are memories I will always cherish.

All of the “lasts” are sad and emotional, but you know what they always say, “all good things must come to an end.”
